Sara joined the firm as an associate in 2023. Her practice focuses on representing private and public sector unions and workers before the National Labor Relations Board and California Public Employee Relations Board, in federal and state court, and in arbitration.
During law school, Sara worked as a law clerk for the California Teachers Association, helping represent educators across the state. She also worked with unions representing hotel workers in Orange County. Sara served as an Associate Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review and worked as a Research Fellow for first-year law students. She volunteered with UC Irvine’s Transgender Legal Assistance Clinic, assisting clients with name and gender change petitions.
Sara’s great-grandfather was a member of the baker’s union in Germany before immigrating to the United States and opening his own unionized bakery in Oakland, California. Her grandfather went on to serve in elected leadership roles for the Bakery and Confectionary Workers Union of Alameda County for over 30 years.
